Your East London photo studio.
Who we are.
Storytellers is a network of graduate and professional photographers in East London who believe in the power of quality photography and visual storytelling. When we combine the expertise of our team, the emerging talent of our graduates, and the resources of our in-house studio, we have everything we need to create the perfect image.
We are creatives dedicated to making a positive impact in our industry. We’re here to show that quality and social impact can go hand in hand: by championing young, diverse creatives we can broaden the talent pool, produce better, more innovative work for our clients, and create more opportunities for the next generation of photographers.

A photo studio with a difference
As a social enterprise we donate all profits to our charity, The Photography Foundation, which offers photography training programmes to less advantaged and under-represented young adults in London. Every trainee who completes the programme is invited to become a graduate Storyteller and gain access to paid, meaningful work opportunities.
Having both expert and graduate creatives in our network not only diversifies the styles and talent available to our clients, but also offers a more flexible pricing structure that reflects the varying experience levels, allowing us to accommodate budgets of every size.

Supporting our East London community
Our charity and photography studio in East London are proud to be community-focused. With the profits donated from Storytellers, our Foundation funds local photography projects, nurtures young talent and invests in outreach programmes.
In partnership with Discover Young Hackney, our Foundation ran a community project with young photographers in East London last year, introducing them to different aspects of photography and encouraging them to explore their local area through the lens of their camera.
We’ve also delivered photography talks with our neighbours at the Photo Book Café, partnered with Hackney Council and Create Jobs on outreach programmes, and we’ll be hosting family open days at the studio this summer.
